Define Drug Addiction: Compulsive physiological and psychological need for a habit-forming substance.
The condition of being habitually or compulsively occupied with or involved in something. A chronic, relapsing disease, characterised by compulsive (loss of control) drug-seeking and drug-taking despite adverse health, social, or legal consequences to continued use, and by neurochemical and molecular changes in the brain.
